Led product vision and strategy for stylized scientific education materials for children, managing the development of 3 books, comics, apparel, promotional products, and a subscription service, for both physical and digital delivery, from ideation to distribution for a 12 month cycle.
- Defined crisp requirements and compelling specs that generated multiple digital interfaces and an enhanced CX strategy; shifting in the digital strategy from ecommerce to a multichannel platform that expanded touchpoints and increased user engagement.
- Oversaw the design and construction of 2 primary products: 1) Book Series and 2) Subscription Service. Oversight included: R&D, cross functional team management, user research, production, vendor relations, and general operational prioritization. Books were released into the marketplace, spurring relationships with the YMCA’s educational programs and the Academy of Sciences.
- Produced and drove roadmap for 12 months of service, maintaining funding for the company by creating a minimal viable product for evaluation; Received $1MM valuation and several accolades including: the Nautilus Book Award and Parent Choice Seal of Recommendation.
